Physical education is essential because it not only helps in physically strengthening the body but it strengthens the mind as well.

There are many studies that have found a strong correlation between physical well-being and increased academic scores.

Furthermore, eating healthy and incorporating at least 60 minutes of physical activity everyday will help improve children’s health, mindset, and overall self-efficacy. The goal for my students is that they reach a level of competency where they are able to appropriately apply, gain knowledge, and skills in their everyday lives, which in turn will 

positively affect all aspects of their lives.
